About

JupyterLab

The project JupyterHub.nrw is establishing a state-wide, cloud-based Jupyter service to strengthen digital teaching and research at NRW universities. The goal is low-threshold, hardware-independent access to virtual working environments, enabling students to develop digital skills regardless of time and place. The service encompasses the four central pillars JupyterHub, Infrastructure, LMS Integration, and Didactics to ensure seamless integration into everyday student life, from exercises to exams.

The project is currently in the pilot phase; opening to all NRW universities is scheduled for early 2026.
